LOL I guessed that there would be some jokes in this thread before i even opened it!
Must admit, he was a bit of a legend, even though he was a little irritating.

Real Shame, seemed a decent sort of bloke and fond memories from when I was a kid.
"What Dave doesn't know"
"Lets take a look"
I used to get called Beadle at the Police, apparently I look like him, I dont just to make it clear but it was funny arriving to 5 or 6 colleagues in home made Beadle masks or from the brew room making small hand big hand gestures.
RIP Beadle !

Irritating or not (wasn't to me) he certainly did his bit for charity with apparently over a £100 million raised over more than 30 years. Fond memories from when I was young watching Beadles About and You've Been Framed. Sad he died at only 59.

I remember him as "Beadlebum" on LBC when I was a kid. He was funny and of course you didn't have to look at him on the radio!
Amazing what the chap did for those worse off than him.

Stop it with all the jokes about this great man who was a good entertainer and raised a lot of money for charity, he doesn't deserve jokes to be made at his expense, I think he deserves a big hand!

His charitable acts included helping children who suffer from Polands Syndrome, from which he suffered and which left him with the withered right hand..
Apparently he had leukaemia and then cancer of the kidneys...
Harry Hill is better on YBF by far, but you've got to hand it to him, Beadle will always be remembered for his wind ups and pranks.

RIP.
The cheesiest presenter of the 80s but I'll always remember the crap he used to present with happy memories!
Of its era, and it made him a rich man.

My eldest son has Polands Syndrome.
We were lucky enough to meet Jeremy at Euro Disney in the early 90's, and he's sent Paul a christmas card and birthday card every year since.
Ok he could be an annoying ****, but how on earth did his disability have anything to do with that?
Knock it off lads, it isn't funny taking the mick out of the disabled.
