i have an akita and the cats still come in garden, the dog would end up running in the house out the way.

We tried everything -- mothballs, pepper, mustard and what worked was placing rocks around the places where they frequented. Job done...they shat elsewhere after that. I wanted to buy a sniper rifle it was so bad.

cheers people thermobaric grenade it is then lol they are really doing my head in, had cats all my life untill recently, now they have gone am being bombareded by all the cats trying to claim it as theirs

My mother in law bought a plastic crocodile. I am not sure why!! She thought it might scare the cats........its less than a foot long. Ha ha next thing she saw was the cat sitting beside the croc on the table.
The next day half the tail was broken off.
Sorry this is not much help - but at least it tells you that plastic crocodiles definitely do not work.
We had a sonic repellent which worked ok.

I`ll try the lemon juice. Someone mentioned using paprika a while back on here. Didn`t work though.

have tried the citrus, slowed em down did not stop them, have not got enough rocks for my garden, would take quite a lot but thanks, neighbours are wary of airguns and would def grass me for firearms as its their cats, wonder if you can get cat mines lol.
