Tonight BBC2 11:10pm. I saw this the last time it was on and it's great TV. Worth recording and watching several times.

Thanks from me too
Would have missed that and as New Order are my favourite band of all time I appreciate the thought

Yes, that's about it. A lot of Tony Wilson RIP, and lots of New Order describing why...um, I'll not spoil it. Great stuff on Joy Division too who are one of my favourite bands. The whole trance scene is described and you have to laugh at Bez. It's great viewing and I was sorry not to have recorded it last time but it's all set up for tonight and I'll be putting a "keep" on it in Sky+ as well. Enjoy!

I really enjoyed it when I saw in on BBC4 as well. Made for great telly. how can people care so little about money
!
Slightly off topic, we clearly share some music tastes here, so who else do you like? As well as New Order I'm a big fan of the Wedding Present, Kraftwerk, Halfman Half Biscuit and Bruce Springsteen (OK OK!).
I tried that Alter Bridge that was mentioned then other day and it was 'OK', but what's do you really rave over?

Alter Bridge are never off my iPod and last night I booked myself a couple of tickets to go see them in Brixton Academy on November 8th and can't wait. Flight to London, stay there in a hotel for a few days, go to the gig, buy some merchandise and have a good ole time. As far as other music tastes go I'm big into Rory Gallagher and blues/rock in general which includes Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Bonamassa, Richie Kotzen, Roy Buchanan (I have to thank Mr David Lock for that one) and then there's the heavy rock stuff and death metal (Cradle of Filth, Children of Bodom et. al) alongside classic rock like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath etc.. even venturing into some prog stuff like Yes, Tangerine Dream, Hawkwind, Dream Theatre. There's a lot of good new bands out there too like The Answer, Buckcherry, Black Stone Cherry etc. I listen to most things, even Daft Punk, Deus, and the Robert Plant/Alison Krauss album is interesting as well but very different from all the other stuff I've listed.
