There have been stories in the past about people salvaging goods from stricken vessels - motorbikes, and just last week timber..
Now the ferry stuck off Blackpool has a cargo which holds more interest to me..anyone up for a salvage trip?

He said the first stage of the salvage would be to remove fuel from the ship despite the fuel tanks being intact.

I'm going to have a take a picture of Worthing sea front for you - The wood is still there - Except instead of being strewn along about 2 miles of beach, it is now like a wall of wood about 20 feet high on the beach that goes on for about half a mile.

My mate has a stack of it in his back garden - It's really good stuff - About 20 foot long and 6 inches thick - Ideals for floors and ceilings, decking, well anything really.
He went on a covert operation because the local council are fining anyone that tries to take it £2000 - And they now have a temporary fence and security round along the beach, which has effectviely been closed off.
****s.
