What a total waste of space
They could not sort their head from their **** in our opinion; by the way, they have mucked us about just trying to buy a TV FFS
Ordered a 40" LCD over 2 weeks ago and got all the details of the order and they said delivery within 14 days, yeah right, don’t hear a thing for two weeks and HC rings them to find out what’s going on
they turn round and say oh sorry we are having problems getting them at the moment but we can do a Saturday delivery this week!!! so we tell them to change the delivery address from the work address to the home one, yep that’s no problem, it will be delivered to this address between 10 & 2 pm
2pm comes and goes
Phone them up to find out what’s going on only to find out they have tried to deliver it to the wrong postcode
"F**kwits and it will go down as a failed delivery
and they will have to re arrange the delivery in 5 days FFS
As it's your mistake can you arrange someone to call us on Monday to sort this out, only to be told by some stupid bint that she can't do that
"We have to call" I tell her it's their fcukup so why cant they call us, she said they won't, it's down to us to call them, but surely you have a pen on your desk and a piece of paper don't you ? well put our number on it and stick it on someone’s desk in front of their pc to call us back ! "No can't do that"
So I said stuff it I want a refund then
only to be told we can't do that as we don't know if you have received the item or not
At this point I flipped
I have now ordered one from PIXmania, cheaper and with a 2 year warranty "lets see what happens with this order"

Dixons .... same shower as Currys and PCWorld.
Customer Service is totally, utterly abysmal ..... John Lewis with a Price Match is where to shop.
We can only hope that DSG Retail go out of business ..... their remarkably bad Customer Service should be their downfall - you may have missed it, but they told me to take them to court as they wouldn't fix my TV!!
Staggeringly bad .... do NOT shop at Currys, Dixons or PCWorld - lets stop them treating customers so badly!

I've had nightmares getting stuff from Pixmania. Wouldn't touch them with a very long bargepole. Ordered a monitor from them, (for next day delivery) and only finally got them to cancel the order and refund my money 8 weeks later when it still hadn't turned up...

I ordered a LCD from Tesco's online just after Christmas and the delivery time they gave me was "between 10:09pm and 10:09pm" on a Friday night !! needless to say it wasn't delivered 10:09pm and couldn't be delivered until the next Wednesday as it was at the courier's and all of their delivery runs were full until then.
Tesco's said that the delivery time e-mail was a standard e-mail that everyone got !!

Got ours from Empire direct. Free 5 year warranty, plus 10% off, plus money back from Quidco.
Came within a week.
Panny 42"
Heard bad stuff about Pixmania. Only good things from John Lewis.
Dixons, and all the other high street shops I really couldn't bare to put money in thier pockets.

Well said that man, the more people who hear the message that Currys, Dixons, PCWorld and Pixmania are disgraceful at Customer Service the better and the quicker they will have to act more like John Lewis to stay in business!

And all will be well if it never goes wrong ..........
However, if you ever need to call upon their Customer Services you will sadly discover that you should have bought from John Lewis.
I have bought plenty of stuff from PCWorld, Dixons and Currys - maybe I have spent more there than anyone else on ScoobyNet, due to my advancing age. But I have never had to rely on them to sort out a problem.
And when I do, they fail miserably - really really miserably ......... when the chips are down they become your adversary, rather than your friend and they derserve all the negative press they receive about it too!
