Default Should MPs be bugged?

If they have done nothing wrong then they have nothing to fear, surely?

Not sure who would do the bugging.

What i am sure of is that they should not be in charge of their own pay rises and their own expenses, etc and they should be audited by someone independant.

I heard that MP's can submit expenses of £ 250.00 without receipts, well who else gets this sort of treatment.

We know that some cannot be trusted so all need to be scrutenised and prove that they deserve our trust.

It is OUR money, not theirs and they need to be 100% accountable for it at all times. According to R5, compared to euro MP's this is good behaviour, they get away with a lot more.

Nope, they shouldn't -- Not as a matter of course anyway. If the security services have a cast iron resons for soing it, then, maybe.

How about the media? It would certainly keep them on their toes

Don't see why should have any more special treatment on top of their present privileges.

They are public servants. Nothing more.

The particular case in question is nothing to do with MP status anyway.
