i only put it up last spring
the base of the greenhouse is still attached to the ground so everything was done correctly. i phoned the greenhouse people up and they told me that they don't guarantee the greenhouses, only the polycarbonate windows are covered for clarity. its only 9 months old
i did point out that i can no longer see through the windows as they are all face down
i was surprised that it fell apart so quickly as it was sheltered on two sides by trees
i have now got a new one with twin polycarbonate windows which is waiting to go up.
has this happened to just me?

some of the plastic windows had snapped in the wind, this allowed the wind to get inside and shake it up. i live quite high up so i gather it wasnt sheltered enough........it does look like someone had too much to drink and fell on it
loomy, i built the base too, thats why my back is broken

It sucks when things like that happen All the effort into building it only to watch it in pieces.
I helped my dad do his greenhouse. Its been up a few years and has been fine. We did spend a long time doing it though, maybe we just got lucky.

We had a 6' x 6' greenhouse to go in a corner. We only glazed half and none of the roof, even then it was b. heavy. We put dowels underneath to roll it into position like the ancient Egyptians did with heavy stones. We left a narrow access space to the two sides. Then we glazed the roof and the other half.
A couple of years later noticed that the wind had blown the whole thing bodily to close the foot or so gap that we had left But no broken glass.
Yes, once the wind gets inside then it will cause havoc. Bad luck

corners are not always the best place as they can trap the wind causing big pressure changes. Strangely out in the middle can sometimes be better. All depends on the direction of the wind.
(I don't believe I managed to talk about wind for so long without any fart jokes I must be getting tired )
