Red face There's something in the water:

For those of you office bound types that like to have a gossip by the water fountain....might be an idea to have a look at the colour of the water next you use it.....

Yes, its green!

And yes, feejits were still using it, before the out of order sign was put on

I was wondering if the damn things ever get santised properly - obviously not.

reminds me of a few we have had at work after playing a few jokes on people in the site office.
one was ribena coloured after one incident.

think the best one was the water boiler with someones sweaty sock stewing away in it. the surveyors were drinking from it all day long.

that green colour doesnt look good though.

reminds me of that thread on here a while back with the jellyfish in the kids soft drink.

why people would still use it makes you wonder sometimes.

Looks like that green stuff that you see on discarded items in stagnant pools!

I bet the dispenser was on hire but has been forgotten about, so the tank doesn't get swapped over.
Does the tank get repeatedly filled with tap water and is next to a window?

It is only a bit of algae.

It wont kill you, but I would still give it a gould clean with something that will stop it regrowing quickly.
