Job agencies online profiling – anyone done one?
I’ve had a look at another job and had a telephone interview with the agency handling the recruitment. Seems like it went OK as they want me to fly over for a face to face, but before that the agency has just asked if I’d complete a 40 minute questionnaire online. This is what they say about it:
”The assessment is designed to determine your Thinking, Leadership and Emotional styles, as well as your career motivations. There are no right or wrong answers to the on-line assessment questions”
All sounds very American to me and this would be my first – any tips? The agency handling the position is called …Ferry (in case anyone is familiar with their tests).
Cheers

Belbin duly Googled!
I see my responses will sort me by row and column(s) here Belbin's Team Roles.
Guess it is nothing more intrusive than sussing your type(s) to fit in a team.
Cheers

Interestingly I've done Belbin and McQuage (sp) a number of times, and they came out diffferent everytime. Much depends on your mood at the time I suppose as it's often would you rather do a than b and they can be equally unappealing but you have to pick one.

Thanks Ol' - been genning up ever since. I'm definitely ticking the 'love motivating people to change' box as this will ring their bells from what I know already . Hope there is a 'first to buy a round' and 'fairly patient with small children' box. All other excellent qualities .
