i got a number
kinda hard and not too sure what to do,
well put it this way, ages ago i posted that i'm single (6 yrs) and maybe was trying too hard.
(been on various dating sites etc blah blah)
anyway so damn used to it, and all the usual fake profiles/scammers etc.
the recent site i'm on
well i exchanged 4 msgs.. yup only 4,
and the girl gave me her number..
cos she said her laptops broke, and so she don't go on the site that often
so i'm now kinda nervous,
1, not too sure if its a genuine number
2, if its real, it kinda makes me more nervous,
3, i'm not much of a talker
4, not much of a texter too
5, no idea what to say
6, shes in london i'm in sheffield (i think too far for anything really)
7, shes 22 and cute, i'm 30 and not much of a looker
WHAT DO I DO?
btw shes the 2nd girl i got a number (the first after chatting online....but omg spoke to her for 5 minutes, and soo damn chavvy started swearing and dissing her family cos they're going to a **** footie match)

You have to empty your sack sooner or later and a five knuckle shuffle ain't as good as the real thing. There's a fair chance there won't be a relationship with her but at least you'll lose a pound or two

send her a hi text message and leave the ball in her court to either text back or ring.
something like:
hi x its x, just thought id send you a quick text so you have my number, im upto my eyes in it at the minute but if you ring me I will have a great excuse to stop doing what I am doing. x

Go for it. Say what YOUR thinking and start a conversation.
Then a subtle drop of something along the lines of "Your gonna get it" works well. Make sure it's dropped in after the conversation's going well though, else your in the **** with the law.
Then there's the drugging option as posted above!!

Anyway, if your too self concious just forget it. Spen more time building up your own self personality til youre happy with it, no point meeting people and expecting them to like you until youre happy with yourself.

If this is a serious thread and not a wind up then good luck. If its a wind up then I'd be very suprised as its not something Id expect to read from a long time established poster
