Does anyone know what the proceedure is if you are here illegally from Brazil, but would like to become legal?
Will they deport you immediatly?
What if you could marry an english guy straight away?

She is here on the wrong kind of visa. If you want to get married you have to leave the country, apply and then come back. At least that is what I had to do with my wife (who is Polish, when being Polish in England was a novelty
).

Know quite a bit about Brazillians - we have around about 50 of them couriering for us at the moment LOL
Yes, they can deport you immediately as we have found out. Those that are on false tickets/visas have been sent back within 24 hours of being stopped. Brazil is it seems the only country that has this arrangement though perversely we have had chaps back because the plane was full!
If you/gf wants advice then I'm sure can put you in touch with someone suitable.

She will have to leave the country and re-apply for a visa. This is fact not hearsay!
The easiest way is to leave the country and get married in Brazil and then apply for a spousal visa. It's not possible/difficult for her to stay here and get married here if her visa has expired.
