Cool Recommend a firm selling balloon trips, please

It's for my mum's 65th birthday / retirement. Had a look at Red Letter Day and one or two others, but would like to get your opinions on other outfits.

Anyone been on a trip or organised one for somebody else? All thoughts and suggestions gratefully received.

Cheers, James.

Thanks, Jaybird. I ought to mention that Mum and her partner will be leaving from Devon.

Thanks for the response nonetheless.

Bought my old dear a trip in a Virgin balloon a few years ago. Added excitement for everyone as it came down within the perimeter of a local army base. They are nationwide and mater enjoyed her day.

Virgin seem like a good option, too. Good value and they depart from a place called Princetown on Dartmoor, which is about 10 minutes from Mum's house. Champagne's offered and all that malarky.

dont get too excited by the "champagne"

we had a great time with Virgin (eventually). cancelled due to inclement weather 5 times.

definitely worth the wait tho.

our pilot got his passengers to help get the balloon off the back of the truck, attach the basket blow it up and then pack it all away at the end. helped make it a great occasion
