If you could have any car in the world, what would it be? if you could only pick one.
mine would be a jaguar xj220 i think
An interesting choice... They were quite an achievement when they first appeared, especially the prototype - with 4 wheel drive, a big V12 and very novel scissor doors, but the production units lost all of those... ending up with rear-wheel drive and a turbo'd V6 (producing more power than the V12, but with quite a bit of lag by all accounts, and not quite the same noise).
Having seen a couple of them in the flesh, I can see why various owners were dissapointed with the fittings - as many were simply sourced from a variety of diffirent manufacturer's mass production parts bins!
Still - you don't see many (any?) actually on the road - and to own one would be a VERY special experience I'm sure.
As to what I'd have, given the choice of ANYTHING (and I'll keep doing that Euromillions when it's a huge roll-over just in case!)... probably a "Pagani Zonda Roadster F"...

yeah i know the xj220 was a dissapointment compared to the original spec, (i think the v12 only produved about 50bhp less though?) but i just think they look great. maybe if i ahd the money, some engine tuning, and a new set of brakes would go down well. possibly a new exhaust system to sort that sound out
and i have never seen one in the road. only at shows.
there are some good choices though so far. keep 'em coming
F40. Just love the whole concept of no creature comforts, it was the most focussed car of its day. Window winders, turbo lag-a-go-go, bloody bathroom sealant holding the carbon fibres together, all makes it the most frightening package of its day.
