Default Tired all the time...

I thought i'd post this up as it might affect other people too.

Lately i've been feeling very tired (sounds like a stevie wonder song!!!)

Hopefully its just the time of year (dark and miserable) but got me thinking about my food intake...

basically i've been a bit lazy regarding veggies and fruit and was thinking this could play a big part in this - and also i guess psychologically its a downward spiral, and i'm seriously lacking in energy. (something which i've never had before)

anyhoo, i was thinking about getting some multivitamins to supplement my intake, and was hoping someone on here would verify their ability to work!!!
thanks in advance for any input,

off for a lie down now....

That can sometimes make it worse mate. Best thing to do is get your blood tested Daz. Easy to request one from your doctor, your tiredness could be for any number of food or blood related reasons.

It amazes me the number of people who cant cook or think they don't have the time to cook a decent meal. Something like a casserole with plenty of veg is a piece of pi55 to do. 30 mins prep then just stick in the oven. Top meal for a family or a good couple meals for you.

It would be worth getting a check from your doctor just to make sure all is well. If so then it is probebly down to your lifestyle. A proper diet and sleep pattern would be much better for you than all the pills etc.

thank you everyone for your input.

i'll think i go down the quack's as a safeguard...

i dont pump iron, but i'm on the go all the time and i do cook my own food, obviously not everyday!!!! - dont really booze it up either??

think i just need to get out more as i work from home a fair bit and look and the window and think i dont think i'll go out in this weather.

a kick up the 4rse is needed i think.

i'll report back any developments. - i might lay off the xbox for a while too, i think this is subconciously screwing my head!!!

Exercise is a good way to keep your energy levels up - you don't have to go mad, just half an hour a day or every other day will make quite a difference.

It's 'apnoea', before you start cursing google.

Usually depends on if you are a chunkster (17" or plus collar size) or king of the all night lager and kebab sessions.

I used to be both and that's how I got SA!

Not fun, as used to wake up utterly exhausted, literally falling asleep at the wheel whilst driving to work in the mornings!

Basically, there is a big difference between say excessive snoring, and sleep apnoea.

Having seen you in the flesh, although it was a couple of years ago now, I don't recall you being lardy.

And if you are diagnosed with Sleep Apnoea then you have to report this to DVLA who may take your licence away unless thay are satisfied that you are getting proper treatment. dl

drink more water. 75% of the population are chronically dehydrated.
Some are so bad that the thirst mechanism is mistaken for hunger and they eat more

Ignore all the advice here apart from those who said "go see your doctor" and don't leave it too long.
