Getting rid of a mole
Anyone got any tips or experience, it's in the garden, not on my face.
I'd rather do it humanely, so can you get some sort of mole trap?
Cheers,
Paul.

you have the search facility. One of the all time classics on this site are the mole threads.
I really don't think anyone could add anything more to them. If you feel you can, please do so. Just make sure you take pictures

BTW just a warning that old threads come up jumbled up, so the first few posts will be lots of people talking about how funny it was, and then later on the joke appears. It's a bit weird.

Go to your garden centre or local agricultural merchant and buy 6 spring traps.
Using gloves rub them well with soil to remove human smells.
Wait until you get fresh mole hills.
Use a bamboo stick to find the run between the hills - you'll feel it suddenly break into clear space. I usually do it about 6 inches from the molehill.
Still with your gloves on cut a 4 inch square of turf out so you can see the run.
Clear the holes either side side so moley has a clear run.
Set the trap - mind your fingers - and insert into the run.
Split the piece of turf in two and place either side of the trap.
Sprinkle some earth over the joins to make it all nice and dark again.
Inspect the traps from time to time: you can see if they have sprung or not as the two arms will have moved apart in a V for victory sign.
I usually catch the mole within 4 hours.
Sometimes though, I have to move the traps to fresh molehills after a couple of days.

this is what you want Rodenator proves a popular way of dealing with rabbit plague
The link provided also located these farm acident photos - none with any gory bits I hasten to add - but some are astonishing including the guy who walk away from his Avensis after hitting a tractor head on at 90 mph!
