My new disc for Sky+ has 4 connections but is covered by a Plastic surround. Does the Plastic just pull off or do I prise it off or cut it off. Tried to pull it off but such a tight fit was scared to move the disc. HOW ??? do I get it off Please

i think the 4 are for HD. but as for how to remove the plastic im not sure??
my quad LNB is easy to get to. What is the reason for wanting to reomve the plastic??

I assume you are talking about the four outputs from the LNB on the dish assembly? If so then the plastic cover is to protect the cable terminations from the elements and is actually left in its' extended position after installation. If you need to disconnect the cables then this cover should slide upwards towards the LNB, thereby exposing the cable connections.
