Fox's "24" will be returning in the fall, after all.

cool, its been ages since I saw any 24. By the time the films come out I will have forgotten everything that I saw 
I hope they do a recap of who is alive, who has double crossed, who has double crossed and pretends to be dead, who has double crossed and is actually dead, and well, you get the picture

Just currently watching 24, only 7 episodes of Season 4 left to watch, been watching them every night since season 1 for the last few months
The current season 7 has been cancelled and will probably be released as a bonus dvd at some point in the future, the new Season 7 will be a completly different story, different actors etc etc
The film is or was reported to be the first hour all over europe and not in real time, whereas the last hour will be in real time
I did think that only Chole O Brien character had signed for the film, and even Keifer was still undecided or at the very least unsigned

The filmed half of series 7 before the writers strikes.
Way i read it was it would be finished over the coming months then shown in january.
Heard nothing about it being cancelled or re shooting it with a new story

It was all over the radio after the writers strike finsihed that Season 7 was cancelled, mainlyh due to a lot of the actors have got contracts for other work so cannot film 24
