Probably dodgey.

I used one like this (may of even been this one) and they just sent me a guide to unlocking - all easily available information.

I sent them a mail saying how disgusted I was and I would be contacting trading standards (I may have even threatened a 'visit' to their registered office) and received a full refund.

Can't you just turn up to a market stand or an unathorised phone shop to get it unlocked while you are there?

Not that I've ever done it?

Apparently mine can't be unlocked by anyone other than Orange (and that hasnt come from Orange, as even they told me to go to a street market as its cheaper )

And they cancelled my pay as you go, so I cant access a single thing on my phone (except make emergency calls) not even my memory, my pictures or anything unless I put a valid working Orange sim card in it that is active on the network
