When they appeared on the music scene they produced something which was very different and they were a very professional outfit. They also wrote and composed their own music which was very well received by the music lovers of the time from a wide background.

Tastes change over the years of course and you probably are comparing them to the style of music that you are used to and therefore prefer.

wtf! lol, just killed off a couple of members of the band then
Will always love Beatles stuff, blame my dad for that but you can hear their influences all the time in contemporary records.
