Question Build a Model Solar System

Anyone else seen this advert .... looks a nice piece of kit.

BUT, 52 weekly issues at £6 an Issue = £312

I remember last year they ran that Galleon Ship Build ...... 3 years of magazines at something like £5 a copy with a small piece of the boat ...... worked out that it would cost £500++

Some sad folk will subscribe, no doubt

Yes, I liked the "universal" accuracy bit

I wonder if after building it you can sue them for only providing a solar system

If it is 'universally accurate' it's going to be rather big. Miles and miles in diameter...

Finding a decent prebuilt orrery is tough (but they are fascinating to watch) so might be worth a go bit going by the close ups on the ad, a fair few bits were squint.

Someone alread has 4 quid bid and 5 postage for a copy of the first one (1.99) on ebay..!

Build a Model Solar System (Orrery) Brand New Part 1 on eBay, also SpongeBob Squarepants, TV Characters, TV Film Character Toys, Toys Games (end time 15-Mar-08 19:30:34 GMT)

Here's a 20 quid alternative though!

Bough a remote controlled scooby of ebay for 16quid

He had spend 500 plus on magazines and couldnt get it working.

Its mint never been used, my mate looked at it and all that was wrong was the wires for the motor were the wrong way round.

I quite fancied it, but I rather have the whole kit straight off. Not have to wait umpteen weeks to get various bits, and sod the £6 a month...I thought SN membership was bad
