We had heavy hail earlier, dont think the dog was impressed, we were just walking home from the woods at the time.

I do hope the International Disaster Fund will be helping us in our time of need. The chaos and disruption is sure to be on an unrivaled scale with as much as 20mm of snow in some areas. It could take the country years to recover from such a freak natural event !

Oldsplice, strangely they dont tend to have much hail in Alaska... snow and lots of it, but being beaten by hail is another thing. He spent a few mins trying to catch and eat it though.

Still lots of snow here, but none of it is lying
Shame really, as if it did lie, I could have had some fun tomorrow. Not on a sledge mind as that broke years ago, but I do have a set of skis. Just how much fun would it be to set of a speed camera on a set of skis in the UK?
(Co Durham btw)

I woke up to ten inches, then she hit it with a shovel
On a more serious note, this is the first winter where we have not had ANY snow at all so far (East Midlands). Lived here 30 years. Summat's up
