OK Pete - prove them wrong
Subaru UK seem to think that a 77 year old Impreza driver is the oldest Impreza driver in the UK. We all know that there is an older driver on this forum, so how about contacting IM and proving them wrong, Pete?

Can't believe he went for a new STi over both a WR1 and an RB320 - what a muppet. Must be senile or something.
As an aside though. May be this guy is Pete!

I know a 70 year old who has an STi 1 and he is quite capable of leaving most for dead, especially on a track!

If you want to take that mantle Pete-go ahead.
However, the bloke I meant has always been a very good driver and he has lost none of his ability. I also know a 73 year old who races MG's and shames a lot of far younger drivers!
Hoppy,
I would give a lot to be able to get into one again of course-best "hooligan" machine I ever knew
. I did once get a lap record at Snetterton in a Meteor Mk 7 but I had to admit to cheating a bit because I did not go under the bridge!
