Hellooooooooo Edinburgh!
After 10 years daan saarf, I've returned to Caledonia and have just moved in to a place in Edinburgh.
Being from further north and having only visited briefly in the past, I have no real clue about the place so what are the thoughts of the locals?
Any must do things or places/areas to avoid? General tips or info? Website recommendations to see what's on? Anything really...

Cheers sti!
hehehe, I am one of them so no worries on the skirt thing!
Was in Ocean Terminal very briefly and that seemed nice but didn't think much of the Morrisons on Pilton Road.
But it's only been 24 hours and the whole thing is looking good so far!!
(and the car insurance is 12 quid cheaper )

Only 1, 2 and 3, Channel 4 is only till 8pm
In the run up to my departure, I have been stunned by some of the ignorance and perceptions around Scotland from people I'd thought were fairly intelligent.
People shocked there's a Harvey Nichols here...
People asking if the ATMs take cards from English banks...
People talking about thermal underwear being a year round requirement...!
Had the usual stuff taking the pee but these things were serious.
