Do you belive in them? Have you ever known them come true?
Examples:
If your right hand itches,you'll come into money
If your ears burn, it means someone is talking about you
Eating carrots improves your night vision..
And the favourite..if you ********** you will go blind
Well I used to get told that if you chew your hair, you'll end up with a hair ball ..
how we used to 'pah!' that one when we were nippers -cats were the onlythings to get fur ***** etc due to constant cleaning...(remember we were little!!)
How wrong were we? I've just come across this

Surgeons have removed a massive 4.5kg hairball from the stomach of a teenager in the United States.
The 18-year-old went to her doctor after complaining of stomach pains and vomiting.
Doctors carried out a scan and were amazed to find the huge mass of hair blocking her entire stomach.
The woman admitted she had been eating her locks for five years, the New England Journal of Medicine reported.
The publication said the hairball measured 37.5 x 17.5 x 17.5cm.
Once the hairball was removed, the patient was discharged and given psychiatric help.
A year on and the teenager has gained 9kg - and has stopped eating her hair, the journal said.

I know the ears one, right for spite and left for love.
Oh and an itchy nose means you are going to lose your temper. Yes, that works for me
