High volume on an original Vertigo pressing, LP12 shaking the foundations of the house down.

I have all there older stuff on vinyl too. It definately sounds better than on CD even through my modest Rega P3.
I particularly love Trans-Europe Express. The artwork for that LP is great too.
They were truly groundbreaking. I saw them live around '87 but they had gone digital then & didn't set up the old Kling Klang studio on stage. Still sounded awesome though.

An RP3 will kick the *** of most CD players. Have a modified LP2 as well as my LP12 and SL1200's in my setup.
I've seen them a few times but sadly nothing has the impact of the early stuff IMO and I'm too young to have watched them.

would love to see them live in concert,
the range of the synths is amazing, bet the floor really shakes when they kick off
I liked there early stuff, Autobahn, Computer World, Man Machine, trans europe express, some of the later stuff, is a little bit to polished if you know what i mean
