I only ever did that once-had to go flying and it was a terrible mistake. What a terrifying hour that was!

I once broke a finger mesing about when clattered. My hand went blue, and swelled up nicely, so I put a glove on said hand and carried on drinking... I went to A&E the next day to get plastered in a different kind of way
Not as hard as the Russian maybe, but I am forkin nails

Good one J4CKO, closer to the truth than you might think too.

More terrifying for anyone else in the plane I'd suggest Les!

Pah!

Broke my left wrist in 7 places, bust two ribs and dislocated my jaw in a summer Sevens (medical) rugby tournament. Had the jaw popped back in, was told by the (pissed) medics at the game that my wrist was sprained, not broken, so went back on for the last 5 mins when another player was injured - wrist and ribs smarted a bit when I had to make a try saving tackle . Then drove from London to Cardiff for a night out clubbing, etc, with a new woman (wondering why it hurt so much to try and get 5th on the drive down- my new second elbow wasn't helping) only to wake up in the morning with a bad hangover and no distinguishable left wrist - My left arm being the same circumference from just below my (real) elbow to my knuckles...

Ho hum. No sense, no feeling

FB

PS any rumours that, instead of some heroic tackle or fight, I dislocated my jaw when trying to get the whole of a Jumbo Hot Dog in my mouth at once when offered a bite by a mate will be strenously denied, although when i apologised to the doc who popped it back in for getting red sauce and onions all over his thumbs, he said " No problem, mate, I normally do that for young girls and there can be much worse stuff in their mouths when I'm doing it" Hope he washed his hands between patients.

Also I've just come out of a back brace after breaking my back (T12 in 12 pieces) at 10 am on Xmas eve morning. Wouldn't go in for 4 days until all the minced pies, turkey and mulled wine was gone (also known as first day due back at work). They scanned me on the 28th and strapped me to a board before sending me to the Spinal ward. The neurosurgical consultant, when told that I'd been wandering around for a few days before coming in, exclaimed "You ******" which is obviously some highly technical medical term In my defence, it was sore, but not that bad, and everything still worked thankfully.

I'll vouch for that, drinking Vodka straight with a Russian bird in Tenerife for a few hours, I pretty much passed out when it looked like I was on a promise. According to my mate she looked very peed off
