Default Who has a safe in their house?

I'm tempted to get one fitted to keep passports and other valuables in, possibly including car keys etc.

Just wondering if anyone could recommend a small one, ideally one that could be located inside a kitchen unit bolted to the wall or something similar.

If it's small, what's to stop someone nicking it with your valuables inside?

there are loads out there. remember if you tell your insurers you have a safe and your contents policy requires you to use the safe for any specified valuables, then you are only covered whillst they are in the home if they are in the safe.

in my experience, people tend to build hidey-holes here and there when working on a house....

Think you need to move to a nicer area.

I have a floor safe in the house, was there when I moved in, you would never find it at least not in a short space of time

Mine is very difficult to remove as it is concreted into the floor

I just put anything valuable in the Oven, no one would suspect it plus no one in my house ever goes near it!

Yes, but how many times have you roasted your passports, wife's bling and 5 grand in cash for 2 hours at Gas Mark 5.
