Yes, there was a previous case like this a few years back.
Weird as ****. If you murdered someone you would "serve" half the time those poor kids have. 73 yrs or not, they should do the same to the old codger and throw away the key !

i know, i 1st heard the captive for 24 yrs,thought,hmm, another freak,then today i found out he rutted her and spawned 7 kids, madness and phucked up sick ****tte.
vvanker,hope he gets butt phucked in jail.

The comment on the latest story is asking for Austrian to repsond to how they think the scandal is portraying thie rcountry around the world.
What kind of ****ing **** is the BBC employing these days?. I mean what kind of moron would say that what has happend is in any way connected ot the fact the bloke is Austrian. Or that Austrian officials have somehow failed to provision for some nutter locking up his daughter and repeatedly raping her over the course of 24 years.
It's like the rest of the world assuming all British GPs are mass murderers due to the antics of Harold Shipman.

What....you never knew there were another 5 people in your house, and that your husband would dissapear....and that these people would need feeding etc? That would cost some money.......and you think your weekly shop for 7 people was normal?

I did think exactly the same, and agree about shipman. Think of jersey as well.
Ok then a few things to consider.
As pointed out by an Austrian official - 3 children legally adopted, 3 children who where held in a cellar, 3 children who generated paperwork, birth certs, NI no's, etc, etc. When put up where where the checks by Austrian Social Services (probably not abbreviated to the SS).
What about neighbours, amounts of shopping, are you really telling me that shopping for 3 kids is the same as for 6 kids.
Is his wife so completely naive to think the kids just turned up, the mother (who was in a cellar not feet away) was really in a comune/sect.
The kids had other illnesses, bumps, scrapes, dentists, etc in al that time.
All in all it just seems incredulous

It does, but then if you were his wife, I don't think you would even entertain the idea that he had locked up 8 people in the cellar - i mean we just don;t have the mindset to even consider such a scenario- Apparantly when the Wife and daughter were reunited, it was obvious to everyone there, that the Mother and Daughter had not seen each other in decades.
