Albert R.I.P
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/corradoboy/Cats/albert1.jpg)
The missus heard a thud upstairs followed by a couple of seconds of frantic thuds. Upon inspection he seems to have possibly fallen off the bed whilst asleep and it has triggered a heart attack
He was gone by the time she got to him ![Cry2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/cry2.gif)
He was the most loving and gentle cat I've ever known, and never once revealed his claws, no matter what you did to him. He was so soft his own shadow could scare him. All he ever wanted to do was sit on your lap and sleep as you stroked him, or curl up next to his mate Harry for a sleep.
Goodbye my little buddy

Aaaahh, I'm really sorry to hear that. ![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Our mate's cat went like that when I was looking after him one weekend. It happened so fast, there was absolutely nothing I could do.
We lost our old Flora 5 years ago next weekend (at 16) and it's 2 1/2 years since we lost Prussia (at 18) and we still miss them.

Sorry to hear about Albert, we had our dog put to sleep a few weeks back but we had time to get used to the idea, terrible to lose a pet like that as its such a shock.
I still miss our cat Barney, and he has been gone years.

Hi Mate sorry to hear about your loss, always very upsetting to loose a family pet - our old cat Lucky lived to the ripe old age of 20 and it was very strange without him for quite some time.
Unfortunately though, you can't keep em forever; just be proud of yourself for having given him a loving home and grateful for the time you knew him.
Time will take care of the rest.
Feel better soon.

Sorry to hear that Dave
I cried like a baby when someone ran over my bro's kitten (well she was a year old) and left her lying in the road, for someone to eventually bring her round after discovering the address in her collar jobbie
I spent ALOT of time with her when she was a kitten
Funny thing is, as soon as she was buried we had a BIG (emphasis on big) Tom cat turn up who adopted my bro (Oscar) while he'll never fill Morgan's place, he does a pretty good job

Sorry to hear your news. We've lost 2 cats, one was run over about 10 years ago and we lost another to rat poison 2 years ago. Bloody heartbreaking, still makes me blub now.
Still got our fat furry mog that makes us laugh, and fights everything in sight, even though she's 12-13 years old, including small dogs

about 2 weeks ago now i was coming back onto the estate where i live someone had obviously hit this ginger cat and left it for dead in the road i stopped even though it was nothing to do with me to see if it was still alive, it had already died and blood had been pumping from its head so i picked it up from out of the road and put it on the pavement as there was no address on it, i thought that was the best thing to do instead of leaving it in the road.
I dont know how people can be so cruel to leave a animal to die like it![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)

Steph, someone did that with my cat Piphead, although thankfully she had no marks on her at all, and it was a week after she was runover that I found her, brought her home and buried her, I still miss her now, even though its been nearly 18 months, we do have another cat now which we got about 2 months ago, called Fish ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
