I won a item and paid for it via paypal on 2nd of May. A week late nothing replied. I emailed 'he said his wife was ill and wasnt able to send out the item'. I got suspicious and then filed a dispute with paypal. He then emailed me, I spoke to him on the phone and he said cancel the dispute and he will send out next day deliverey. I did cancel...I know a mistake! Anyhow he now is not returning my calls and neither his house number. I dont have an address for him accept city and town. What do I do? report to the police?

Have you got his address? consider going round his house.

send him an e-mail saying if you dont respond or send the item within 7 days you will report it to the police as fraud.

Ebay opens your eyes sometimes mate.

I see your point. but 2weeks on...what possible justified excuse has the guy got of not sending the item? some measures have to be taken eventually. When I do get the address..I will just send it to the police.

Oh No I agree you need to get his address .. but the other person doesn't know you and in the interest of keeping the piece probably wont pass on the details.

I agree, the chance of someone giving his details out are slim but its the quickest and easiest thing I could think off. No harm in asking etc.

Theres an advert for this place in the photo of the item.
Dont give up on PayPal just yet. I have had a result out of them before. Just make sure with e-bay you keep a record of ALL correspodance you send/recieve.
