M25 J9-10 6pm – Camera’s filming traffic?

Coming back around the M25 tonight at about 6pm, from J9 – 10, there were a number of what looked like cameras filming traffic. They had just one LED showing and were pointed to view the rear of the cars going both ways. Each pair of ‘cameras had a man checking them and a stopped car on the bridge, I saw them on three bridges. Anyone else see them or got a clue what they are up to? Don’t like being watched…

I drove across that bridge the cameras were on this morning and the guy with them was fast asleep in his car
!!!!!There was one on both sides of the bridge, ie filming front and rear facing. My guess is its probably time lapse stuff as the cameras looked like fairly standard issue?

I've done that 'film star' thing, I'm trying to keep a little more 'lo-pro' these days 
Besides, even with the Mrs driving, the traffic was sooo heavy they weren't going to catch anyone doing anything - except perhaps picking there nose

I saw them too i was going past at about 4.30-5pm, did you notice that the fast lane (right hand side) was doing it's usual speed up between the camera's, only for some hard breaking in flash zone.
The same ******* on the bridge nearly caused an accident the flow of traffic did not notice the chaps on the bridge & thought that it was some sort of speed trap, then one guy about five cars up slammed on the anchors and brought us all to a stop from 70Mph....... (60 limit) Clean underwear moment!!!!
What are these ******* looking at when they drive and why stop in the fast lane of a motorway ???!!
