Know anything about running a business from home? Rules Regs etc..
We recently had some new neighbours move in a few doors down. They are a middle aged couple with 2 very noisy, and undisciplined kids.
We've learnt from the neighbour next door to them that the mother intends to start a creche/ day care business from home. Now she has trouble keeping her own two in check let alone someone elses children, and we are worried about the noise etc.
Does anyone know what laws/rules/regs in place to govern this type of business in a quiet residential area? I'm guessing there will be noise level requirements but am not sure what that would be...
any advice given wil be great, ta

If you are genuinely concerned for the welfare of any kids that might be looked after here, I would suggest social services would be a good start, however if its just noise then I would think there's not much can be done as long as all H&S requirements are being met by them.
There are plenty of creche's in the middle of residential areas already so it's not unheard of.
btw how do you get that little thing above the e in creche??

Phone up social services anonymously and say you think her husband is a pedophile. That'll stop it dead.
As you may gather, I hate kids.
