Default Will a racing bike go in the back of my car?

Picking up a new rbike tonight and wondering whether it will go in the back of my bmw 3 series coupe? It has no pedals on.

What do people think?

Have I accidentally logged into the "BMW drivers who aren't sure whether they can fit a bike in their boot" forum?

mine fits in the boot of my golf with the back seats down - easier to get in and out with the front wheel off

I got my youngest's 17" frame mtb in the back seats of my Scoob a few weeks back, front wheel off the bike, no probs.

If you're going to do it, DO take some paper, rags etc to wrap or put under the chain etc

No youll have to shed out for a decent sized coupe - unless you take the front wheel off.

Surely that would be "The same as the OP drives his BMW without indicators?

But how will you drive any coupe if you have taken the front wheel off?

Best way to get a bike in the boot of any car is to perform an emergency stop! Always works, every time.

Before I get infracted again, may I take this opportunity to point out to the OP and the rest of you that I too have a BMW (and I don't use my indicators either ).

Not that I'd put a bicycle in the boot. That'd mean taking out my golf clubs

Only pointless to those that can think for themselves or have an ounce of humour in their body. To the rest it's so important to their self worth knowing that they can have some control online where they fail miserably in real life.

Its gonna get smelly round ere, I pee'ed myself laughing!

I will dodge infractions like a challenger on Gladiators avoids giant swinging ***** while running across a perspex bridge to hit a button.

Unlucky Paul, some people have no sense of humour eh
