It's that time again...
I don't use my phone much, so I'm looking to minimise my total cost of ownership over the year - almost any package is likely to include as many minutes as I actually use.
Over the last 12 months I've been paying about £12 a month on average and got a K800i included too. The year before I was on one of these 12 month 'free' line rental contracts, got a free RAZR V3 which went straight on Ebay, and since I did actually get all my line rental refunded I think I actually made a profit![Lol1](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/lol1.gif)
So, what to do this year?
I like my K800i and I have the full BMW car kit for it, so I'll probably carry on using it anyway. So the plan is, either look for a ridiculously cheap SIM-only deal, or try and get the most valuable phone I can and sell it straight away to help pay for line rental. The best I've found so far is a phone (LG KF770) worth about £160 on a package @ £20/mo, giving a total bill for the year of around (12*20 - 160) = £80.
It's got to be on O2 because that's the only network that has coverage at my office, and I prefer a contract to PAYG.
Tips please?![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Lol
I say I want to minimise cost over the year and get recommended an iPhone... do you work in mobile phone retail??
I called O2 - stayed on the same £8.50/mo contract (100 inclusive minutes) and got a £50 credit for keeping the same phone. Total cost over the year £52 plus any extra calls, which isn't too bad IMHO.
