Default Annoying Companies -RANT

Badmood tonight, catching up on some post and stuff.

Got a letter from Natwest saying they are charging me for a Business banking card, £35 from a dormant account with no cash in, because there is no cash in it they aregoign t charge me "£30 every day items are received and paid" whatever the f*ck that means it then says "This charge an other fees, which may acrue during this calendar month, will be debitted on the sixth business day of he next month, interest on borrowing, yadda yadda"

So, they are trying to take money for something I dont remember having from an empty account and charge me for the privelige, if they charged it from my other account I wouldnt have noticed as it has slightly more than 30 poxy quid in it.

So, they can **** off, I am feeling really pedantic and will close all my accounts if they push it.

Now, broadband, Nildram, used to be great, now useless, they chargedme for a regrade £40 which they said would not apply, they dont return calls, cant get through so I think I will cut my losses, they were brilliant but got taken over by Tiscali and now are ****e. Plus the up tp 16 meg is running a 3 meg, £25 a month, might as well go with some budget provider for ****e service and slow speeds.

Why do we put up with crap service in this country ?

I have no idea, spending some time in America really does highlight how crap our service generally is!

Sadly I can only agree with your points!

Managed to get the £40 back of Nildra, they said it was a "mistake".

Managed to get the new card charge back off Natwest and can now ring about getting the £30 back for the overdraft charge, so 15 minutes on the phone has got me £100 back.

Moral of the story, check your statements and moan like f*ck.

Yes but you shouldn't have to. This country hasn't a clue about customer service. Visit Dubai and you will see what I mean.

F1, know what you mean, service is massively better in the States, and stuff is cheaper.

You're right mate but it does seem that you have to chase people more and more for money that shouldn't be taken in the first place. I've been trying to stop the credit company that worked for my insurers for my last Impreza to stop charging me for the last 3 months, even though I've tried to cancel the policy about a million times!

Glad you got the money back though mate, give 'em hell, I say
