El Gordo scam doing the rounds again - will they ever give up?

This time by post..FFS, Email is bad enough.
So far, I've won the lottery three times ( I have three addresses thus got the same mail three times) - and so has the rest of my family!
Whilst the old 419'ers are nothing new in this day and age, I'd love to know where they got all our home addreses from.
The fruits of lost government data? Or some indian call centre employee selling client details on the side. Or was it just simply purchased off the DVLA or other such bodies like 192.com that openly sell people's details for mail-shot (legal or illegal) uses.
