Default eBay Returns Question

I sold a Waffle maker on eBay, with a big picture of what it looked like, I did not put the model number on the advert, as it's a waffle maker..

Anyhows, I sold it for £20 + £10 postage, now the buyer wants to return it as the item was wrongly described

I have agreed to this, but the buyer want me to pay for the return postage, I nearly told him to **** off and keep it, as it will cost me more to have it returned...

Sould I refund any postage fees ???

Nope.

If you put up a picture and described it accurately then its his problem. If he really wants to return it then its up to him to make sure its returned to you for a refund.

What do you have in written in your returns policy? (usually at the bottom of the auction)

My returns policy

In the unlikely event that you wish to return a purchase, you must include all original items, packaging, manuals etc. undamaged and in a re-saleable condition. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. You as the buyer are responsible for shipping costs incurred returning the goods. Damaged goods will be covered under Royal Mail insurance if you chose to take this option.

If it ends up in a dispute as far as I am aware it is the purchaser who has to bear the return postage costs, not the seller. Check eBay policy, it'll be in FAQ in their dispute console. Sounds like they've just changed their mind IMO! eBay is full of wan.... sorry annoying people like that
