I met him today, and he was barely audible, really nice guy though.
Spent a lovely day being looked after by one of my customers, then suffered Murrays defeat against the astonishing Nadal - all in all though a good day!

Delighted the moaning Scottish miserable prat got destroyed...
It seems perverse to me that he couldnt be bothered representing his country recently but then his country represent him at Wimbledon... The hysteria on Henman Hill the other day was very silly...
All that said, the missus wants me to take her to Wimbledon next year so I will look into it... She also wants a rabbit so I will look into it. I wonder if I could combine the two and go to Wimbledon and bring back a Womble.

His "country" in a football tournament is Scotland. Not England.
Neither is the English football team the "British" football team.
Oh, and for completeness, Great Britain is not a "country"
Why is that so hard to understand? Or don't they teach basic geography in English schools?

Really grates me when people talk like this, and you notice it more often in the press
When an English sportsman/woman does well he/she is English, when he/she does poorly they are a Brit
When a Scotsman does well he suddenly becomes a Brit but if he does badly he is Scottish
Its the same whether they are Manx, Irish or Welsh if they do well they are classed as Brits if they dont then they are Manx, Irish or Welsh.
Even at events such as the Olympics where we do all compete together as Great Britain if the winner is English then they are portrayed as English but if the winner is either a Scot, Manx, Irish, or Welsh person then they are portrayed as British
It must be because the English are so bad at everything they want to grab everyone elses glory

Murray may well have been unnecessarily rude about the English football team, and I think that was down largely to his youth at the time. He has learned to control himself now, particularly on the courts.
No one can take away from him the outstanding victory he had over Gasquet from a position when it looked as though he was out. It took real grit and determination to fight back as he did.
He failed against Nadal, but he can be excused for that, Not many are able to cope with that man's incredible ability. Nevertheless he tried his best and never gave up. That in itself is also worth something.
Given time and more experience, he may well develop into one of the very top players. It is certainly very unfair to slam him for his performance this year at Wimbledon.
