The Register never really has a particularly cheerful spin on things, but the Eco towns just seem depressing. That can't be the future?

There was an article about this in the Saturday Telegraph. It's the next big anti-Labour bash lol.
What isn't mentioned is that the sneaky b*stards aren't siting the proposed new towns because of local resources, etc; the developers have been allowed to choose the sites instead.
Says a lot about how good the planning really is....but then what else should we expect from this government that everyone seems to be coming to hate.
