BB Download Limits

![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I've been told that I have gone over my download limit and will be charged.
I suspect that someone else is hacking into my wi-fi .... not sure how, but I have never been close to my limit before. My network is as slow as dial-up ... it's like someone is downloading loads of stuff but I cannot see how or who or how I can check?
If I watch a film online .... is that counted towards my downloading limit - or is downlaoding just where you keep stuff on your PC?
Probably a daft question, but hey-ho

Apparently I have a password ..... I don't have to input it in everytime I log on (I think I did once, first time, but now not)?
The selection of networks in the area shows all of them as security protected.
I did sign up for the BT-Fon thing where anyone can use my network if they are also on BT Fon ...... I thought it a good idea if I go somewhere in the UK on holiday or for work I can get online still if someone registered is in the area. I do wonder whether their downloading adds to my limit? If so, it's a bit crap, isn't it?
There are a lot of contractors who live around my area, working away from home, I do wonder whether they are using the system to log on whilst away from home?

Is this any good:-
Your DSL connection rate: 7616 kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP profile for your line is - 6500 kbps
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 5209 kbps

Get a 30 day trial of this and see what you're actually doing:
Download DU Meter (English)
every web page, email, IM, movie, radio, sound clip counts towards your limit.
If you're on the sharing thing, I'm not sure how that works but would have thought it shouldn't affect your figures but can't see how they would differentiate.
