Going to be moving soon and will probably do it myself for various reasons. But does anyone know the rough fuel economy of a Luton Van with tail lift? Driven fairly gently - mainly motorways.

Used to get 25mpg whenever I borrowed My mum's partner's Luton Trasnit (yes, its a diesel).
However, it was pedal to the metal all the way - flat out 75mph![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Say 30mpg for something a bit newer/potent + driven at 55-60mph and you won't be far off

Had a Fiat Ducato based motorhome. -2.8 JTD engine (Basically a luton with cold beer and a bed) - weighed about 3500KG with nothing in it, 4200 KG with the beer loaded up. Usually got between 25-30 MPG, but could be coaxed up to 50 MPG on long French motorways if you don't die of boredom driving at 50 MPH. Apparently the post 2006 models are way more efficient, so you should be able to get 35 mpg and still make reasonable progress
