Angry Can we expect South American or African levels of inflation soon ?

The missuse went shopping yesterday and our preferred brand of baby formula milk has shot up in price by nearly 100% Heinz have chosen to rebrand the 'Farley's' range as 'Nurture' and it looks like they want us to pay for the new packaging and promotion by hiking the price up from around £4.60 a tin to nearly £8

I think we'll be force-weaning him onto veg ASAP

Costs twice as much in fuel to get the food to the shops ...... just don't expect the prices to drop when the fuel price drops!!

Yes, we are facing stagnation.

It's only right that people bringing babies into an already overcrowded world pay more for the privilege. Paying more for baby products should hopefully dissuade people from making the unsustainable population problem worse.

The true rate of inflation for essentials is already at 10-15%. The "luxuries" included in the "average shopping basket" are falling in price as we get meaner, and are skewing the official rate downwards.
So, not quite Zimbabwe rates, but getting officially close to 10% by tghis time next year. Betcha!
Expect interest rates to follow suit, and all hell to break loose.
Cue private Fraser...

LOL, I used to think like that, and as a father I still do

Most of the ills of this world can be put down to population.
