Has anybody successfully activated their new 3G iPhone today?
I got the new 3G iPhone this morning and its still sat next to my PC unable to do anything at all as its still locked. I spoke to O2 earlier today and they say the simultaneous 20 country launch has buggered them up as the servers are down. They reckon it may take 3 days to fix.
Has anybody got theirs up and running today?

no i ain't got mine activated yet either..thats probably because i haven't got one,AHA HAA..Im gonna wait a couple months till all the bumps have been ironed out..

Wonder if thats why O2 sent me a load of GPRS and MMS settings without me asking for them on my w880i

hacktually I had a word with 02 the other day and after kicking up a god almighty stink, they relented and I popped down to my local CPW this morning ( which was quiet ) and have a brand new iphone 3G sitting next to my mac. It is not yet working as the 02 servers cant activate it yet, but with 8 mad kids running around the house, I am having a large drink and will wait until the wee hours to do it ...so there

I had no problems activating it yesterday afternoon but it still has not changed to my old number yet.
I was with the CPW and was told I am now with O2 and would need a new sim but he did the PAC in store and said it would take 24 hours max before it changes..
Did everyone get a new sim with the I-phone and does your new sim now use your old number??
