Cripes I've got a load of old original Northern Soul type 7" records on vinyl in my parents' loft including some original James Brown, as well as some original Beatles stuff. Unfortunately I sat on 'Get on Up' and broke it in two I've also got some Bill Hailey and The Comets on 78!

Some of my 7"s have the hole bit in the middle missing (Louis Louis - Kingmen being an example), you used to have to put the little plastic thingy in the middle to play them on the Dansette. Does that make them good or crap?

From Singletrack:

Just spoke to him
Unbelievably- His daughter (15) amended the sale conditions due to her lack of trust in paypay. Ebay got all squiffy and pulled the sale. ( Unbeknownst to my mate !)

His daughter is not too popular right now ( to say the least )

Still , as he says , "no-one died" and he still has the 7", though it sounded like it was through gritted teeth.

So there we go .....The saga continues .

She's right not to trust Paypal though. Its one thing using it for something worth £100 or so, but for something worth £1000+, I wouldn't go near it.

Paypal is all well and good if youre a buyer, but its an invitation to a dishonest buyer to make a dishonest claim.....
