Question Not one TG thread in 3 hours

This must be first. Three hours after TG finished and not one thread praising/slating it

FWIW, I thought the race was average, but the Alfa 8C was stunning, with JC on cracking form....

"as fake as a hookers smile"

"Keira Knightley's just an ironing board with a face"

"a cello being played by an angel in a pillow of honey"

"like vomiting on the Pope"

"like buying a **** film for its plot"

"I wouldn't care if the sat-nav had tourettes"

"Sarah Jessica Parker looks like a boiled horse"

"Bill Oddie would spot your beaver 3 miles away"

If the car is as bad to drive as he says it may as well have a diesel engine. Why waste money running a V8 when all it'll ever do is pose along at 30mph ?

It's not on iplayer yet - virgin media, so haven't watched it.

Surely can't be as bad as last week's dire edition?

I missed it. (washing the cars...the Pina-colada scented Simonize is somewhat addictive )

But unlike 99% of the feejits, I have the initiative to download the whole episode to watch later. Instead of asking if its going to be repeated

75% at the mo...torrent is a bit busy.

Series linked on my PVR, also available on Virgin 'Catch-up', online on iPlayer, as a torrent from Final Gear, and in a few months, thrice daily on Dave

But it is repeated on Thursday 17th at 8pm BBC2

Was not overly impressed with the Japan bit tbh... looking forward to the tame racing driver having a go on the track

Good over all episode though, and I loved some of the comments made between the news readers lol

As usual I thoroughly enjoyed it: Even the 'stars' were slightly better than the other weeks.

The switching off the navigation system looked fixed to allow for the empty roads in Tokyo. I actually don't remember Tokyo being full of cars: People, yes, but not cars. Like above I miss travelling to Japan for work.

I know its only an "entertainment" program, but there are so many inconsistencies in those so called races that make them so blatantly fake.
If it really was a race, then how did the camera car sometimes be in front, then behind Clarkson, then back in front etc.
...and how do they get the static camera shots where he's driving past?
Was the camera car THAT much faster than a Skyline? I Don't think so!
As for the other two, we see them set off, carrying cases. Then we see them without the cases. Then with the cases again.
They could make it more realistic, and believable if they each carried their own camera, but that would make it less entertaining I suppose.

If you believe the website, they do the race 'properly' and then go back to relevant points afterwards and film the exterior shots.
