My concentration is fading away......
I've noticed lately that my attention span is now around 10 minutes long, anything in excess of that sees me drifting off to the land of idol thoughts!
In fact that figure is decreased by adding the following elements:
1. Health & Safety
2. Quality
3. Management Processes
4. Monthly Reports
5. Progress Meetings
There was a time when I was sharp, switched on..... don't know what happened, all seems to relate to my joining SNET!
I actually just sighed and did this = ....... that's it then, there really is no hope for me.....
Can anyone really be that interested in work?? or are you (like me) just pretending to be?

My concentration span left me years ago. It took me almost fifteen minutes after opening this thread to actually getting round to read it.
It must be as the sun is out in Nottingham for once Or my final braincell has left the building... More likely than not

I came into work just before 9am, by 9:05 I was yawning, so I guess I beat you in the attention span stakes
Am now having a little skive before moving on to my next job, which will be equally as boring, but pays rather well

Not particularly.. I have to go to a antique watch repair chap and get a pocket watch restored, and the bloke that does it is a bit of a specialist, and he is only there on certain days.
That should take me till about 2:30 - Then I shall sit lounge on the balcony drinking Peroni for the afternoon

It's definitely age related, I have the attention span of a gnat now and have absolutely no interest in my work, I'm just ready for early retirement. No doubt when I'm retired I'll be moaning about being bored and having nothing to hold my attention any more
You lot don't help, you keep distracting me

I'm off every afternoon and morning if that helps more.
Sometimes I go out, drive up the hill and actually forget the purpose of where it is I'm supposed to be going.
I don't think its age related but then SC being a fair bit older seems to think it is so maybe she's right.
