dont panic mate.
if the inevitable does happen, it might be a blessing in disguise and you move on to better things.
i know it doesn't stop the worry, but it "IS" out of you hands and you'll have to ride the wave.
i hope it goes well for you and have fingers crossed!!!

failing that, go to a phone box and speak to your sales dept, pretending to be a prosective customer, and say you've got a big contract that requires lots of structural engineering.

Not good mate, but dont let it drag your health down too.
Fingers crossed for you, even if it is the worst news im sure something will come up soon. Especially with the building boom that seems to be going on.

Can only speak from what I see in comparison to others months and years in the areas I go, and from here it looks like its all go.
Excuse me for not being actually in the building trade, just an observation, and a little better than saying "oh bad luck, crap game to be in in this day and age with the housing crash and all"
*zips it again

We're in recession, the buildings that are being build have to be completed, rather than being left half finished..... but new projects are being stacked as we speak...... so not really a boom.... more of a bust!

unfortuantly it doesn't work that way, by the time the building hits site theres normaly been a years worth of work before hand and were down tooling due to completing our work, same as architects.
