Angry Anyone on the M4 tonight at about 9pm?

Well I had the fright of my life tonight driving back from exeter to Kent at about 9pm and about 20 miles from reading services a car was driving the wrong way down the motorway in the fast lane!!!

Well to say I nearly **** my pants is an understatement, what was he doing and where was he going????? If anyone knows that part of the M4 there are not many junctions and the next one I saw was not for about 5 miles?

I still cant believe it, I had my wife and kid in the van as well and I was making good progress all the way home luckily I had just moved over from the fast lane in to lane 2 so god must have been looking down on me tonight!

It looked like a gold 1980's polo or golf but to be honest I didnt really have time to get the full details!

I had someone do this to me on a rather large roundabout the other Saturday night
It's bloody frightening, but must have been 10 times worse on a motorway!! did you report it?

I phoned the old bill - and did my own little bit of police work. I followed them for about 10 miles, and gave locations etc whilst the plod were scrambled..

when they were finally in the vicinity, the bleddy eejits foofed up. They were on the right road, but managed to somehow turn onto it before we had passed them.. so off they went up the road, with a loony bird in a ****ty clio being tailed by me following them about a mile behind.

I was told to give up and go home

I was on said stretch of raod at the same time, and I can tell you that there was not just one idiot travelling on the wrong side of the road, but bloody hundreds of 'em .

That has got to be a real frightener. Especially because when you first see the bloke, you don't know if he has "lost it" completely and might turn straight into you without warning.

Glad he missed you anyway. Hope he missed everyone else as well.
