Are you still entitled to claim benefits, if you are out of the country (2 months)

I know (of) someone that will be leaving the country soon for two months, will they still be entitled to claim all benefits, including income support, disability benefit etc etc.

You are not required to let anyone know that you are going away for x number of weeks, so the payments should carry on as normal. Especially as they are just paid straight into your bank account these days.

I thought the benefits are only payable if you are resident in the UK, (child support is differrent) If you are not in the UK you are meant to have permission or not get it at all, or apply in that country (if in the EU).
