Default Another motgage question

If you haven't got tip top credit history, will the mortgage lender accept a guarantor, to help things along?

you would have to check with the individual lenders as they are fairly tight at the moment, but yes a guarantor would usually help.

(I work as part of my role setting lending policy for a major financial institution)
